Basic* Plans – Commercial Boats-
*Suitable for Professional or Experienced Builders

Most plan packages on the commercial list are our “Basic” package consisting of the LINES PLAN, OFFSETS, GENERAL ARRANGEMENT, and SCANTLINGS LIST. In the case of smaller vessels with simple power installations (outboards, stern drives, etc.), this design package plus available consultation has proven quite sufficient. For the “Basic” package on larger vessels, plans may be complemented with standard detail sheets or equivavent drawing from other designs. Please contact us if you need a list of drawings for the design.

Abbreviations/Symbols

HULL FORM:   DV =  Deep V(deadrise 20* min.   ModV  = Modified V    Cat =  Catamaran SDV = Semi-Displ.    DSPV = Displacement V

POWER:     I/B = Inboard         O/B  = Outboard         I/O =  Sterndrive

DRIVE:   J     = Jet               T    = Tunnel       TS  = Twin Engines

Computer Lofting, & N.C. Files:

• Some designs have been computer lofted (L), with corrected offsets.
• Some have NC files (NC). .

Units: Unless noted otherwise, all plans are in U.S./Imperial units.

• Study Plans (see note)- Sail (4 sheets) = $150.00
• Power & Commercial vessels (1 or 2 sheets) = $100.00

(note: study plan purchase may be credited to stock plan package if purchase is within 90 days. **Items sent electronically may not be charged for (ie:free~ please inquire)   

Inspected Vessels – Designs marked (insp) met regulatory requirements of Canada at the time of their design. Requirements to conform to regulatory requirements of other countries will be examined on an as needed basis.

Plan sets consist of Design Drawings, Detail Sheets, and Consultation, provided for the construction of ONE vessel only.
